Celebrations of the 1700th anniversary of Edict of Milan to take place in Serbian Nis.

Nis is a town where Roman Emperor Constantine the Great was born. In 313, he signed the Edict of Milan that permanently established religious toleration and equality for Christians within the Roman Empire. The heads and representatives of all the 15 Orthodox Churches, including Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, will attend an outdoor liturgy in Nis, southern Serbia, on Sunday.
